My ex and I are really good friends so yes, I am getting him several gifts! We have a baby girl together and our new men are cool with our friendship. In fact we all get along (my ex is a gay man...long story...we are like girlfriend BFFs,lol).
Just because we are not cut out for a relationship romantically, does not mean we should be enemies! It is so much nicer to be friends!!!

My ex-boyfriends and I are still friends, but we just don't communicate that much. We'd give each other gifts if we were still in touch, I'm sure of that.
If he's your friend, give him a gift -- it doesn't matter if he's your ex or not.

Maybe a card, not a gift. If he doesn't get you anything it'll be awkward.
