I posted this before but am still looking for additional answers

My theatre company has a successful children's program that now includes many young, teenage girls. Our regular company is looking for a play that would allow us to include some of these girls in our upcoming seaon. Someone recommended "The Children's Hour". Do you have any other suggestions?

Additional Details
I'm more than happy to author something. I wouldn't have to deal with royalties. However, the public is more interested in seeing something that is already established. Does anything come to mind?

Quite a few things come to mind off the bat If you are looking for a musical "Do Black Patent Leather SHoes Really Reflect Up" is great for a play Everythign I ever learned I learned in Kindergarten is great also if you have the men The Crucible is such an amazing old standby. There is also Nunsense Which can have all women, there is a play called "Second Class" Which could use both younger and older women. "To Burn a Witch is a good one act if you're interested in that""Beau Jest" is good has equal Share of both ages in both genders. OOOHHHH but now that I think of it, somethign like "Jake's Women" Would be perfect It is one man and I think 7 girls/women of varying ages who play his daughters neices lovers wives, etc. and the "Vagina Monologues" can of course be any ages. Let me know if you need more.

Little Women

Fiddler on the Roof

Hairspray

The Miracle Worker (remember, Annie is supposed to be 18 and Helen is supposed to be 6 years old)

The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie

The Spelling Bee

Wait Until Dark

Take Her, She's Mine

If you want to present a program FOR children, I highly recommend the play EARTHLING! It's not about aliens, but about ecology. It's a series of short vignettes, with simply music. It's written for 5 actors, but can be expanded for more (I did it with 7). Low royalties ($30), no expensive costumes, audience participation, cheap props! You should have no trouble producing this one for about $50-$60. Lots of fun for both the kids and the adults.
