depends on how old each person is and what their path in life is... you cant just deny someone a realationship just cause they are older than you.. but you should always use caution cause they are in a different part of life and you guys might not always see eye to eye, but if you both are willing then i am sure you all will make it work
I have never dated someone 10 years older, but i am sure if there would have been a connection i proabably would have me and my hubby are the same age... so i dont know exactly

I think it's okay but not a good thing.

Your partner will be in a later stage of life than you - and that means they'll need you to take care of them, they'll be retired at home while you're still working, and they'll be dead while you're still kicking for another ten years at least. And it sucks to be alone that long.

Plus, you also have to worry about dominance in the relationship. When one partner has "been there, done that" for everything already, it's hard to feel special...maybe that's just me.

There are some fantastic people out there 10 years older than me, I'm sure, but it would be like dating a smoker - I'd know there would be no future for us, so why bother dating them?

My dad is 10 years older than my mom and they get along great. I think age matters less and less the older we are, though I don't think I would date anyone that much older unless I was already 25 or so and knew who I was. Someone that much older than you could be really set in their ways and possible change your personality if you were not solid in yourself.

I would. As long as the person is 18 and over I don't care as long as we find each other attractive and fun to be with. I dated older women and we had fun times and conversations.

I have heard so many people say "age is nothing but a number" THere is nothing wrong with it. As long as you both are over 18.

If you two get along and its legal go for it. It's more about a good match than anything to do with age.
