i work for a spine doctor and we encourage people every day to stay as active as possible. exercise may be limitted to walking, swimming, biking, etc. you are probably out of hardcore sports. ask your doctor for a handout on safe exercises (which they should have available) or even a one time physical therapy session to learn proper home exercises.

Not without talking to a trainer to make sure you are doing the "right" exercises so not to cause further damage, I have nerve damage in my back (sciatica) & nerve damage in my neck from an auto accident. Excercising is very hard for me & I have to be very careful. I can't do half the excecises I love doing anymore because of this. Watch yourself & also check with a physical therapist it helped me. Good Luck!

I somewhat have suffered from this problem some circumstances, and positioned the premier clinical look after me replaced into anti inflammatory med's, besides as an excellent stretch contained in the swim baths, or jacuzzi. at the same time as i'm contained in the swim pool, I purely loosen up, i do not swim, and that i have some one rub my shoulders and neck and do stretches. something about the water somewhat helps. i wish you sense more effective x

I think you need a physical therapist for guidance.. there is a specific exersize for that, and it could only worsen your back if you dont do it right. My sister had a mild dextroscoliosis and when she tried exersizing it got worst... Hope this could help you..
