We play around on each other. We always play tiny jokes, but now thier jokes aren't too funny and kinda seem cruel to me. I can't stand it any more, they can sometimes get on my nerves! But when I leave the table we sit at they follow me to my other friends and annoy me to come back. I wanna hang out with them, as long as they stop playing these tricks. I told them about this they said it was a joke but i still felt unsatisfactory. What should I do? Should I remain their friends or leave them? Should I see the guidance counslor about this or what? Helkp me please!!!

it sounds like they really arent very good friends. the next time they come around you, ignore them, give them the cold shoulder. expand your friends and start hanging out with people who respect you and don't find it funny to harass and mistreat you.
my experience with guidance counselors is that they're never much help. i had a similar situation of being mistreated in school and was told that the problem was me for being too shy and inviting harassment. i think sometimes guidance counselors have spent so much time learning and focusing on psychology that they sometimes forget that kids are just kids; sometimes cruel and unkind.
if i were you i would tell a teacher and your parents. let them know what is going on. school should be about learning, not cruel jokes at other's expense. if it still continues, go and schedule a meeting with your principal. many schools now have no-tolerance policies with these sort of things and a principal is much more likely to take it seriously.

Tell your friends some of the jokes aren't fuuny. And if they are good friends they will understand and stop with the cruel jokes.

o god i had a group of girls do this to me when i was in jr high. it ****** pissed me off and it got to the point where i almost went crazy. scarred me for life. leave em, who needs em, jus start chillin more with you other friends, who cares what they think. if it persists, talk to the counselor. nothin wrong with that. stand up for urself girl, u dont deserve to be treated like that
