My Limewire 4.12.6 keeps skipping. Would deleting it and reinstalling it help? Would all my songs delete too?

Get Ares P2P instead and no you won't lose the songs you already downloaded.

The skipping is probably coming from the songs you're downloading. If you'll notice, some songs that are listed more than once have different file sizes. The larger the file size, the better the quality. Smaller file sizes will have more skips in them.
