his first week. Is this record speed so far, who has the record and how many had he killed by the end?

We don't know that it's one person, it may be an organisation - or at least more than one individual. We can only speculate that they are related, until more than circumstantial evidence arises to tie them all together.

However, Harold Shipman was the most prolific serial killer - we don't even know how many people he killed, though it was more than 200, so perhaps he killed more in the same length of time. Jack the ripper also killed a lot of people in a short space of time, traditionally 5, (4 over 4 nights, and a 5th just over a month later)but possibly substantially more.

You're ahead of yourself, there's not a time frame for those poor women as far as when they were killed yet.

And if there is a record to be broken, don't say it, some maniac will friggin' do it!

Technically, anyone who breaks into a factory or school and starts shooting is a serial killer... Columbine, 11 in 30 minutes.
