I hate it when some people in my extended family bad mouths another family member when they aren't around. Don't they believe in karma at all? Do and say good things about others and good things will happen to you. Versus, do and say bad things about others and bad things will happen to you. Or, what goes around comes around to be more precise. Why do some people bad mouths others when they aren't around? Any ideas? Please explain.

that happens in my family too I think they do it just to make themselves feel better about the stupid crap that's in their lives I personally think it's pretty stupid

Mostly because they are too scared to say what they think to the person's face, so they just go behind their back and talk. Some people do it to be malicious, while others do it because they are concerned and need to talk about whats going on with another family member. Either way, they should just talk to the person rather than go behind their back.

I have another question for you why do some family members try to drag you down and act like you are not as good or even have needs like they do-I don't ask for their opinion but any time there is contact i get an uninvited opinion on what is my business! I prefer my pets to be honest at least they are nice and lovable. Some say things to hurt you in front of you (like you don't know what they are up to). To hurt and embarrass you Behind your back as well. It is like they are thinking up ways to hurt you. OH YES what comes around does go around! That is why i like to avoid some people-i don't want to see them hurt later on after they have made rude remarks to me for no reason. I think for myself i am going to relax and enjoy life the best i can and stop worrying so much about how everyone else thinks. Just try to enjoy each day as it comes.

Maybe because the person isn't around and they think they can just talk bad about other people. I've never gotten into karma. Who knows why they do it...

i know what u mean, i hav member in my fam that are the same. i really hav to idea, i am completely against things like that. i know sumtimes they talk bout another b/c they feel they hav hurt them in sum way, n now they just want to get them back by gettin others to look at them in a bad way.

nine times out of ten, they are too scared to say what they want to say in front of their face. i have family that i know for a fact talks about me behind my back, but it doesn't phase me cause i know they wouldn't say it to my face. i always say that the best revenge is proving them wrong, it makes them look stupid. don't let them see you sweat. i'm sure they can't hold a candle to you kid :)

Oh my it's funny you say that my cousin just called me trying to pull info from me cause she saw me and my ex talking, she does it cause her life is so boring and she needs soomeone to stir things up on, they're bored with their lives.

Because they are insecure and immature. Confident and mature adults don't have to "dump" on others to build themselves up!
