Split ends are strands of old hair that are very dried out there is no cure for split ends because the hair won't just join together again, you need to get your hair professionaly trimmed at least every six months, that will help your hair grow more and faster, and try not to brush your hair too much, try using a wide comb...and to minimize the split ends use regular conditioner or leave in conditioner and leave it in for a good 30 minutes before washing your hair it maked your hair smooth and not soo frizzy

well you can't cure split ends. You need to get a good trim. A good deep conditionor or shampoo is Biosilk its kinda pricy but it works really good. I have really thick dry hair and that is what I use to keep my hair moisturized. I forgot what the hairbrush is called but it takes the oils from the top of your head to the rest of your hair making it shiny. It only cost like four bucks and you can find it a walmart of a grocery store(you can find the shampoo there too). It should say it on the package. To keep your hair form getting split ends use a comb when your hair is wet instead of a brush because the brush is too rough. Hope this helps! :)

Sunsilk has a line of shampoos and conditioners for split ends, but that isn't going to satisfy as a good deep conditioner. If you have split ends, more than likely you're worried about frizz too so you need to concentrate on getting an oil to put in your hair after you shower. I use Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum. It's in a 5 oz bottle and it lasts forever. As for hairbrushes, I would suggest that you look at a salon because most Wal-Marts and CVS's are going to carry those big fat brushes. I feel your pain--but Sally Beauty Supply can solve it all.

The only way to cure split ends is to get your hair trimmed about every 4 to 6 weeks. And the way to avoid them is by not using a brush. Use a wide tooth comb to comb your hair out when it is wet.Use a good conditioner such as Matrix Sleek or even Suave Sleek conditioner. And if you are using a straightner make sure it is ceramic and use a product used before straighting hair to protect it. Good luck.

split ends are just old, dead hair falling apart.. just have your air trimmed regularly and that should help, also use a good conditioner like paul mitchell or biolage... the best conditioners/shampoos come from salons and brushes also, if the salon u go to doesnt have them, ask them where to find what u want... or try a beauty supply store..... ask your stylist what she recommends... thats part of her job ne ways.. they should always recommend stuff to you to help your hair!

first, get a trim. getting them regularly can better your hair. also, get a flat boar-bristle brush and use that instead of harsh plastic brushes. also, if you style your hair with heat regularly, use a spray conditioner before heating it so it won't dry up your hair follicle. also use a good quality conditioner. hope this helped.
