Pantene actually isn't a bad product; I've been using it for quite a few years and the hairdresser always comments on how healthy my hair is. If this isn't influential enough, I just thought I'd tell you that the hairdresser told me to use Pantene because it's a really good product--it used to only be sold in salons.

As for brilliant brunette, I heard that it ruins your hair...someone even offered to give me their because it didn't work and dried their hair out.

You can also use a shine product and it will enhance your color. I am a hair stylist and I know many people that use pantene. The only problem I have ever heard of is that it weighs down fine hair. If that happens just switch off to something else for a day or two.

There is no truth to the fact that Pantene is bad for your hair. I use the John Freida brunette shampoo and love it, but I'm sure there's nothing wrong with the Pantene one.

Pantene is not bad for your hair. I've been using it for years. I bought the brilliant brunette but have not tried it yet. Just looks like a different color to me and now that I have it I am not expecting anything different...I believe it is just a new sales pitch...like most of them. I'll try it tonight now that you have brought it up...I forgot I even have it. Thanx.

I like Brilliant Brunnette but you might want to try Dove first. It's a little cheaper and it moisturizes really well.

A stylist once told me that it is stringent and damages the hair...I used Brilliant Brunette anyway for awhile though, but I have oily hair, so mine doesn't get damaged...

It didn't really do anything for my hair color.
