don't really know just go to somewhere that cuts hair they usually have books u can look through. serch the internet for famous people u know with the hairsytl u want and bring a icture when u get ur haircut. i have long sideswept bacngs that look emo.

an emo haircut is basically long on top with texture, alot of chunks and short and spiky in back...just take in a pic of the haircut and ur stylish should be able to copy it EASILY ... pictures really help stylist in making sure you get what u want

Just ask your stylist to give you "a cool emo hairstyle." Lol. You shouldn't care how it turns out anyway bc you're supposed to be preoccupied with how much the world misunderstands you.
