Sex addiction was around WAY before the advent of the Internet. I don't understand why people feel compelled to blame so many problems on the Internet. Anyway... if your need to fulfill your sexual desires is in any way making problems for you in your life or creating an unhealthy lifestyle for you then you need to seek help. (examples - you can't get anything done because you are looking at porn all day, or you have unhealthy sex practices with numerous partners)

well a nympho is someone who constanly feels the need to have sex (atleast to my knowledge), im not sure how you would know you were a nypho unless you went to see a professional, though i would say if you feel the constant need to have sex at unruly hours you might be a nympho, but dont take it from me im not a professional this is just my opinion.

Apparently the term is subjective. What one person thinks is "too high" someone else might think is fine.
But no, I'd say it's not terribly common although some people think it amusing or appealing to claim to be nymphos, whether they are or not.

Nymphos aren't just horny as hell, they don't actually enjoy sex, just feel compelled or obligated. And to the best of my knowledge are not common.

Well, it's not that common. Sex addiction is pretty common. Its becoming a huge problem thanks to the internet. I would suggest talking to a counselor or someone. People that have these problems are usually trying to feel a connection or "loved". It doesn't matter if they have "good" lives or not. Its a psychological problem that makes you think having sex will make you feel better. They also have high risks of getting std's or ruining relationships through infidelity.

you know if your a nympho when you start to look at everyone and imagine them naked sucking cuticles, and other funny objects. if that has not happend yet, then your okay.

in my opinion
nympho means ..wants sex all the time
but never orgasms
i could be wrong on that part
but that is what i have heard
i guess they are common
