NO BACK DOOR ROMANCE!- u cannot judge me by the basis of my name. if it was muslims who did it, then truely they are not muslims as their is a way to fight for the sake of Allah and that is not the way to do it. please dont just judge a few muslims and assume they are all the same, as we aint.

Just let it go, it's not worth it. Just take care of yourself that is all you need to do. It really doesn't matter if I believe or don't believe my heart is known and that is how I leave it.
If you are married and have a family go on and give them your best, and being upset you won't be able to do that. All right?
Let it go.
When this is all over do something nice for yourself.

I'm sorry if you feel offended when we say such things. For most of us atheists, who openly profess that we are atheists, we do not do so to be cruel or "harshful" to anyone. Just as I am sure that you are not trying to offend any atheists whenever you say that god exists. You're trying to be helpful, right? So are we.

Especially in the US, we do find it necessary to occasionally remind the christians not to impose their religion on the rest of us -- so we have to jump up and down and make some noise once in a while to ensure that our rights are not trampled, just like all other minorities.

It's OK to discuss the nature of beliefs. In fact, it's more than OK, it's really important. A primary cause of the dark ages was the catholic church's insistence that only the priests should be taught to read and discuss the bible and theology. This was mostly a power play -- by keeping the people ignorant, the priests were able to control people and society. They didn't want anyone reading the gnostic gospels and other "dangerous" documents that could threaten their power and wealth.

It took about 1500 years for western civilization to break the catholic stranglehold on knowledge and education. Think how many needless deaths resulted from the fact that medical science (as just one example) was delayed so many years.

It is good to ask yourself (often!) why you believe one thing and not another. It keeps the mind sharp and helps us to avoid errors. If the leaders of your religion discourage such thinking, then ask them why they are afraid that you will become more knowledgeable. If more people questioned their priests and leaders, there would be less misery and violence in the world.

There is no real proof. You as a muslim will tell me if i dont worship allah and recognize Prophet Mohamed i will suffer in hell. Christians will do the same with Jesus. You both claim to know the will of God. I find that terrifying. Crusaders screamed "god wills it" as they killed muslims, jews and others. The terrorist scream Allah akbar as they flew the planes into the world trade center. All of you claim to know the will of God. I believe that God is possible but i doubt he is real. Every religion on this planet practices selective morality. They change the meaning of there texts. Did God change his mind??? Science is much better at explaining the world around us. The koran and the bible go against science. People have such high blind faith in these books that they fail to see how wrong they are. Please read this book if you really want further understanding. i like the point of how can you say god does exist. People who think god does not say its because there is no proof. people who say god does exist say the world is proof. But acording to alot of scientific fact and physics (gotta love physics) the universe is a complete mistake. It just so happend to form, and form galaxies and form the perfect environment for humans to live on this planet. if there was too much hydrogen in the universe, it would fall apart, if there was too little of another element that makes up the universe it would not be here either. But once all the elements finally came together in the perfect mix, the universe was formed. Personally i just dont want to think that a god would put us on this earth and say alright now see if you can survive this....earth quakes, hurricanes, natural disasters and what not. I dont want to believe that we are supposed to live a certain way to make it up to "heaven". If god didnt want us to feel, or desire or to be curious beings then why make us. It just seems like a rediculous notion, or theory. God is a theory that can never be proved.

A movie i suggest watching......What the Bleep do We Know
its great

I say god doesn't exist because there is no evidence for it. Now, I know that lack of evidence isn't proof, but there is more.

I say that god doesn't exist because the attributes ascribed to him contradict each other...

It is not possible for a being to be all knowing, all powerful, and totally benevolent, and be the creator of this world....

Why? Because a perfect being that knows everything, and has only a desire to good, cannot have been the cause of anything bad. And since we know for a fact that bad things happen every damn day, we also know that god could Not have been the ultimate cause of everything if he knew that these bad things would happen.

Well, as an atheist, I have to say that your outpourings are lame, anti-intellectual, anti-humanist, and very similar to those of Christian apologists before (A). the Reformation and (B). the Modern Age, after which they had to smarten themselves up a great deal. Saying that you see miracles every day is a surefire way to invite ridicule, ever since, oh, shakespearian times, and thinking people are not going to turn the clocks back to accommodate yet another religion coming along which requires that its adherents hand in their critical faculties, and their freedom, in return for mental slavery.
Fingers on the buzzers all those who understand me.

Nobody can prove god doesn't exist, but your imagination can conjure up visions of a near infinite number of far out things that
can't be proved to not exist either. Given that, a logical person will conclude that, without evidence to the contrary, there is simply no reason to believe god or any of the other things you are able to imagine, exist.

I reckon what some people call God, other people call Conscience. I don't reckon there is an actual physical god, (I hope I'm wrong - heaven sounds, well, like heaven).

Maybe Jesus did exist, maybe some guy having a big laugh, a magician, hypnotist or the like. People perhaps were easy to mislead 2000 years ago, and the story continues...

Nothing in life is "nice" my dear...So I'm sorry if you get an answer you do not want to hear. But if you don't want to hear mean things, then don't ask questions that will provok them.

As for God. How can one say he DOES exsist? And How can you say he doesn't? That depends on the person. Some people aren't as niave as others and take things as they are presented to them, and some will dig for a non God explination. I don't know if one exsists or not, i am still looking for my personal proof...

I was brought up thinking so. I am of the idea that we are the only animal in the world who knows for a fact that it is going to die giving us the amount of fear we require to invent a superior being and a place to go to after we die.
This has been the same ever since we are conscious of mentioned fact (death). That is why, no matter how far back you go, humans have always created an afterlife and superior beings for themselves.
