From my personal observations and experience with a being a custom home theater/audio installer, I would recommend the CAV6.6 system by Russound or if you wanted to go a little more simplistic and lose some features, you could save some money by going with the NuVo Simplese system.
Both of these systems offer music in different rooms complete with keypads and IR passthrough but the Russound also allows multi-room video if you ever want to upgrade and two additional zones. Of course, both systems offer a variety of AM/FM/XM tuners and media servers for playing all of your CDs and MP3 files.
There is also one other company that is makaing some very very amazing products and is probably my best recommendation for the die hard music fan because their systems use outboard amplifiers for more power, creating cleaner and clearer sound. They have two systems. The lower end is called Musica and their flagship unit is called Digilinx. They might be worth taking a peak at also.
Either way, you'll have to go to a specialty or custom dealer to obtain the products and proper installation and programming, but the end result is more than worthwhile. Good luck and enjoy!!

If you want the best, I would go with Control4. They are an affordable whole home music system. The cool thing is that if you start with a music system, you can also integrate your lights, home theater, temperature, etc. into the same UI. The other systems (like Sonos) were great, but they were a dead end to me. The best is all relative of course. You could waste as much money as you want on gold-coated speaker wire, overpriced monster cables, etc. but from a quality/affordability standpoint, I'd go with Control4. My 2 cents.

If price is not an issue then Crestron is the system of choice. There are other systems that can do lots too and for less. Niles, Elan, Life/Ware, SpeakerCraft, Proficient all make systems that are very good and very flexible.

maximum receivers contained accessible right this moment in undemanding terms provides you with one zone. you will might desire to purchase a skill amplifier for each section you prefer to furnish sound to. or you could basically purchase a swap container for audio device with 4 speaker connection. You connect the receiver zone (a million or 2 even though if it fairly is with the receiver) to the swap container and then connect the speaker twine to it from the different region interior the abode. wish this might show you how to out.
