Self-defense is the only reason

Thou shalt not kill seems pretty explicit and direct doesn't it?

Yet the same God Who wrote that is the One Who wrote in Genesis 9 that if a man's blood is shed, then by man shall his blood be shed.

God established human government at that time, and further study seems to show a difference between murder and killing.
The first is premeditated and offensive. The second is often defensive and for the greater good of mankind.

As a follower of Jesus, No, killing for any reason is wrong ... why does it happen... i am weak and you pissed me off and did something that i thought was worth taking your life over... thank God he forgives... but it is still sinful

Jews and Muslims on the other hand operate off the idea of and eye for an eye... plus they do not have to tolerate unbelievers who violate any part of their law..... and in many sections the term killing/murder is to be defined as an act of envy, lust or covetousness which is sin and wrong... whereas the act of killing/taking of someone's life for a crime, as an act of war, or by accident is not a sin or wrong...

how's that?

To be uncomplicated, the Koran has some enormously dodgy verses about killing Jews, Christians and Infidels. i comprehend, maximum Muslims do not enroll in that 'interpretation'. even with the undeniable fact that it truly is sufficient to make you uncomfortable round radical Muslims... if you're a Jew, Christian or Infidel. (i'm an infidel).

Only in extreme circumstances when someone who does others great harm MUST be stopped.
As a mother, I would nominate a repeated Child-Molester who never gets charged for the crimes as eligible to fit the criteria.
