How would you covert percages to pounds in cooking? Like say you were making Mire Poix and you need 50% Oions. How would you change 50% Oions to punds?

It would depend on how many pounds of Mire Poix you were trying to make. If you're trying to make 4 pounds of Mire Poix, you should use 2 pounds of onions (50%).
