Funny you should ask - I just looked up these two reviews for somebody else. They're for the Olympus 725SW, which is waterproof to a depth of 15 feet:

This model isn't available in the USA yet, but the 720SW is. It's the previous model and waterproof to a depth of 10 feet, I think.
All-weather, or weatherproof cameras can take a bit of rain, but you can't dunk them under water.
And a zip lock bag isn't too bright. For around $30 at any major camera shop you CAN find plastic bags that are specially made for this. And for +$50, you can get a plastic hard case.

Yes there are many. You can go to Walgreen's and pick up a disposable one for $15.00 and have the prints put on CD
you may also use your camera you have now with a waterproof case.

I were given a water resistant Sanyo Xacti video/nonetheless digital camera very last 365 days and somewhat like it for relaxing stuff like that. I were given it for video somewhat, yet replaced into taken aback how good the 6MP stills look. this is water-resistant right down to a intensity of 5 ft for an hour at a time so it must be no good for most scuba diving, yet suited to loaf round your neck even as swimming or rafting and get a lot and far of relaxing photos.

They are not waterproof but they are called "all weather" meaning if it starts to rain and it gets wet a little you'll be okay.... i think Canon makes one ... they are a little expensive.
