There is a guy that i go to church with who likes me as more than a friend and has told me so before. i am not interested in him AT ALL. but i still have to see him at least 3 times a week. What can i do so that he will know that i don't like him, but won't make it awkward to see him all the time. ( my church doesn't believe in dating until your ready to get married. he is 17 I am 16. We are not ready to get married)

we don't celebrate christmas so i don't have to worry about him getting me a present.

just tell him sraight up be like " sorry i dont like you like that ! but i hope we can still be friends" or somthing like that he may seem hurt at first but dont worry about it he will be fine.

Ther is really n way to sugar coat your feelings towards him so he will accept the fact that you don't want anything other than a "friend" type relatioinship with him. He is going to be hurt. So just tell him in a nice way how you feel and let him deal with it.

Be nice ... and tell him that your not ready to get married and even if you were you dont want it to be him... if he can't get the point then start to get mean he'll get it after a while.

ignore him. be mean to him. thats what i would do. haha. then he will start to see that your not interested in him. or just straight up tell him your not interested. and hopefully he will back off.

just tell him you dont like him that way but want to stay friends. If he cant accept it, its his problem.
