Haha, you know what I did... shhh... I bought food from a restaurant on the way home, lit candles, played nice music, and put the food on two plates and served it up hot from the oven lol! Worked like a charm.

Relax .. it will be great. You have choices. You can order in (anything from pizza to fancy-pants restaurant stuff); you can check with your local grocery store - they often have "ready made dinners" (especially at this time of year). You can bribe a friend to cook something to put in your oven before your date arrives. Women are impressed with those who make an attempt to do something they're not used to doing (such as making dinner). You can go with a theme (ie. a picnic) and make sandwiches, soup, bought dessert, fruit, etc -- put a blanket on the floor, chill the wine and choose a chick flick. You can do take-out, drive through, or munchies.

Just don't cancel the date because you don't know how to cook .. and don't try to pretend you do, either. Do something fun and creative and she'll love it.

Happy eating!

Get take out... As long as you didnt specifically say you were going to cook... If you did have a friend cook it for you and leave before she gets there... Just kidding... Make something simple.. It is the thought that counts.. I am sure she will be pleased with the effort..

get a takeaway but put the effort in setting the mood with candles chill-fm on the skybox and a nicely laid table and some good wine and get a nice icecream cartdor style or somthin for afters..
then tell the story of you not being a cook and coming on here for advice to impress her. when she realises then it was all my idea i'll take it up from there for you.

Order from a nice restaurant (to go), reheat at home, put on your own china, pour some nice wine and your off. Don't hide it froim her that you can't cook, just tell her you wanted an nice quiet evening versus being out in a noisy restaurant.

oooh how sweet!

just because you ask her to come over for dinner doesnt mean you have to cook it, order a nice dinner and make sure there are flowers on the table, nice music playing and turn the lights down low.
good luck to you!

If you have something like Applebees near you, get some good take out, not McDonalds. Set the table nice.

dont order out because if you made it look like you cooked it she will expect you to cook more often, just tell her you cant cook and take to out to eat at a nice restaurant.
