I have this boyfriend, he was a really great guy when we started going out...but he's changed, and not for the better. I'm fed up with him, I just don't know what would be a good way to break-up. Any ideas?

The problem is that I have to see him everyday, and I don't want to be friends.

If you REALLY want to break up - then know what you're going to say and stick to it. He might want to "discuss" it - and you might not want to give him that chance because you'll be having to explain yourself in lots of different ways. The next time you are alone together say "This relationship is not working for me anymore. I need to end it." And if he asks why - just repeat yourself "This relationhip is not working for me anymore. I need to end it." Don't be mean. Don't have your girlfriends standing around and gawking. If there is anything outstanding - like things you've borrowed - or a ring - or a date that's coming up - tell him what you think. "I'll get your jacket back to you tomorrow. Thanks for letting me borrow it" Or "Here's your ring. I feel it's best for me to return it" Or "Regarding Friday - it's probably best if we don't meet up. Sorry if that inconveniences you." And then you are done. Again - don't be mean. Good luck!

say to him
"you was a really great guy when we started going out.. but you've changed and not for the better. i'm fed up with you".
or
"i'm sorry its not you its me i don't know what i want i need time/space/both on my own to sort my head and decide what i want in life"
the 1st is more truthful as its your words and although a bit harsh will get a clean break with no going back.
the 2nd is more diplomatic towards his feelings but my hurt more in the long run the more you reject him over time

write him a letter and just tell him things arent going the way you would like for them to go you guys are both moving in different directions and you think its time that you just call it quits. tell him you still love him as a friend but you just dont think there is anything left in you to make this relationship work.

Just remember that some times it sucks, but its better to be alone, but happy, then with someone who just doesn't make you feel special. Try to do it face to face. If hes not the one you should be fine with breaking up with him. Good Luck! =)

well there is really not a good way to break up... but tell him that you think that we wern't meant to be.... Or that i think we should go our separate ways give reasons why though... and say nice stuff about him such as but you are still a nice guy and i would love to be friends with you.. that can be a good way
hope it helps:)

Just do it because the longer you allow him to stay around the harder it is going to be to get rid of him...... No use wasting time just walk up to him and say
I feel that we no longer need to be together because of some differences... I feel we are better off seperated... Bye
And walk away and no matter what he says or does you need to stand your ground......

first i think you should be totally honest with him, i know that the truth hurts, but sometimes you just have to be honest.. and i wouldn't really know what to do besides change yourself.. don't be around to much, stop sleeping with him, go out with guys, just be distant i guess...lol dont' know what else to tell you.. good luck and best wishes!

you got to be real with him. tell him its just not working and its best for both of you to go your separate ways. but before that talk to him and tell him that he's changed. maybe he hasnt realized it and everything could still work out. if not just tell him the truth.

Just do it! Say you don't like how he's changed and you don't want to put up with it so youre not! The longer you wait the harder it will be on you!

Tell him that in the time y'all have been dating y'all have grown apart and y'all aren't going in the same direction anymore and should go your own way.
