Can I add "happy, well-adjusted, good person" to the list? Cuz the rest isn't necessarily as important to me. Especially the gay part. I have to admit that as a Catholic parent I might feel sad if a child of mine completely left his or her Christian roots, but I wouldn't love that child any less.

As a Satanist and an atheist I can say this, that is the dumbest question I've ever seen on here, all you're doing is giving them room to preach. People on here complain all the time that the Christians preach too much, well here is your reason.

Of the 3 I would preffer gay, because that doesnt mean they cant love the Lord. The Pagan because at least they have an aspect of the spiritual that can be worked on. And last, Atheist because its worse to just insist there is no God than to see it in a different light.

I have a child who is two out of the three. You should be able to guess which two if you know what these things are. What is most important to me is to raise my children to have a strong enough set of values and a strong enough mind to be able to decide for themselves what is best for themselves and for the world around them.

When parents have done their best to inculcate Bible truth in their children, Deuteronomy 6:6-7. At the age of reason, its up to them to make the truth their own. The young man Timothy had been taught “the holy writings” from his infancy, but it was only by exerting himself in his ministry that he gained maturity as a Christian. (2 Timothy 3:15)

To all young ones, like Timothy, avoid doing anything that might make your parents ashamed—or make Jehovah ashamed of us!—2 Timothy 2:15.

What ever comes in my way, I take. We never know what God's want us to do. God gives, I take.

As a true Christian, I suppose to be the teacher for my kids and teach them the right way and with the help of the holy spirit.

He promised that He will send it to us.

I am Christian...but shall love my child forever no matter what. Also my mom and I were atheist -full blown skeptics and we are born again now, so anything is possible.

i'm an agnostic but i think that the really deeply fanatics would instead disown their children instead of accepting them if they became any of those choices
