Well, about 9 months or so ago i had this crazy itch on my neck. Now this spot that i am referring to is right around the spot where a 'hickey' would be. I went into the bathroom and it was about the size of a quarter and just a red bump. I itched it for a while but it was getting puffy so i stopped. Now a day later, it is in the form a bruise[black and blue]. Its the the size of a quarter also. This weird thing on my neck doesnt hurt, has no feeling when touched but just looks like a 9month old hickey? Sometime it will form back into the red lump and start itching again but it always forms back flat and black and blue. Now i doubt anyone has answers, but how about suggestions?

it could be a form of a hive from allergies which explains why it comes and goes. of course you should want to be sure so going to a dermatologist would probably be the best answer. they should be able to tell you what it is and how to get it to go away and not to come back, cause after 9 months you probably don't want to have to deal with it any longer.

good luck!

I have no clue of what it could be based on your description, but anything that is that persistent needs to be seen by a doctor ASAP, especially if it has been there for 9 months!

While I trust your total ideas, I agre extra with the earlier "solutions." This is not a message board. You will have to learn your rant and use it on your query. Hypocrite.
