Its a novel. The storyline was plagiarized from serious research done in the 80s by two BBC researchers who gained access to the recently discovered "Dead Sea Scrolls". They wrote two books, "The Holy Blood and The Holy Grail" and "Messianic Legacies". They explained their research and their findings, they left the reader to make conclusions.
The DaVinci code is their books with Dan Browns conclusions and a whole heap of "Poetic" license thrown in.

The DaVinci Code, as I understand it (only read it twice) Puts forth the idea that Mary magdeline was the wife of Jesus and that they had at least one child (a daughter if a remember correctly). IF someone could trace their lineage back to that, then, assuming that they DID have a child, then one would have the DNA of Jesus passed down into his daughter. Of course all of this is mere supposition, although, at the time peeriod in order to have been considered a Rabbi (Which he was referred to as by his disciples) he would have had to have been married under Jewish law as even in the modern world, a Rabbi has to be married. As to whether that wife was Mary Magdeline or someone else, none can say, although even the historical references point to that being a strong possiblity (of course that is because there were so few woman mentioned that she is simply the only known possiblity) either way...I don't supose that the solution will come to be known in the lifetime of anyone reading these words but it is an interesting theory to toss around...

No, I don't believe the Da Vinci Code is 100% true...I do however believe Jesus could have been/will be married. I believe marriage is a law of God, that one must enter into the new & everlasting covenant of marriage to attain the highest degree of glory - Celestial. And, Christ came to fulfill all law, so why could he not have been married? Just because the bible doesn't say he was doesn't mean he wasn't...it doesn't talk about the years between 12 and 30 either..so does that mean he wasn't around? No, of course not. What's in the bible, we need to know. If God wanted us to know, then we would.

First...its a book about the possibilities and then second the Movie opened up the idea for all the World to see. We as human beings have long been ignorant to think that we are so superior to everything and all.....Da Vinci was so far ahead of his time in his forward thinking and masterpiece artworks....his ideas were riveting & extra-ordinary in nature!! They are still trying to figure out his genius!! The Vatican and Church has always found ways to gain wealth and control over the weak minded and non-educated......look at all the real past history of humanity....Wars and Wealth.....Good Friday invented by the Papal in connnection with local fishermans society to gain profits to eat fish on Fridays? Im a Catholic raised man but cmon....the proof is in the pudding........just because it was written doesnt mean it is 100 & fact!!! DNA and carbon dated for scentific proof is valid and just!!

The Bible is the actual and precise note of God. the pastime of the Christ is an precise description of the crucifixion of Christ. save in ideas, the note pastime refers back to the intensity of Christ's love for us, i.e., the sufferings of Jesus interior the era following the severe Supper and which include the Crucifixion, as correct interior the hot testomony. pastime (noun) a powerful emotion, which include affection, exhilaration, hatred, or anger. The Da Vinci Code is organic fiction, this is reported as such with techniques from the author, Dan Brown. Nowhere interior the Bible does it even hint that Jesus married Mary Magdalene or absolutely everyone else. His pastime for us replaced into so good that His sole purpose for being on earth replaced into to grant us with salvation and a fashion to bypass to heaven.

Davinci Code fiction shows it didn't do it's refrenceing when it comes to explaining it's believed truths. The holy grail is more of a gimmik than anything, but there is something subtle to it most people miss. There is no actual cup or Christ's bloodline, but there is an overlooked truth to it. I wouldn't want to comment on it though for it has no importance when it comes to Christ's teachings. The teachings of any prophet or saint always tend to be overlooked when it comes to fiction or reenactment, that's hollywood thinking for you. I find it distasteful to profit off of things of this nature myself.

Like any great work of fiction The DaVinci Code has certain undeniable truths in it, mixed with speculation and rumor, and topped off with an interesting myth. It kind of reminds you of a certain other book of fiction.....the bible.

The book and the movie were done for entertainment.
They were intended to make money, not re-write history.
There is no blood line nor are the claims in any instance valid.
Both were meant to cause an uproar. Period.
