The Naval Academy is probably the toughest school in the world to get into - but it is more accessible than say Yale. One of the requirements for getting into the Naval Academy is a letter from a Senator/House Rep (howz that for tough) but given your desires here the person who may help you the most is your recruiter. Be honest with them about what you want and tell them to tell you what you ahve to do. There are other tests you can take after the ASVAB that can make you "qualify" for the Academy. There are also jobs you can volunteer for that can open doors for you. Just don't let your recruiter lie to you - (they've been doing alot of that lately) - make sure he is a good one and that he is serious about getting you in.

In Order to join the Marines, You Must Be

18 on your own will

Must Take the ASVAB, and get im guessing a 23/24

..

A Recruiter May Better Assit you, DO NOT LISTEN to people telling you .. You will go to war.. Even with the National Guard it goes with the ASVAB Score,, A High Score = Better Placing..

You may go to Military.com it's a site that helps you honestly.. Recruiter make money from you joining.. So Find one that cares..

military.com is the best tool.

Getting into the U.S. Naval Academy is not so easy. Even if you are supoerior in academics, you can usually get in only by nomination by a senator, or congressman. However you can always enlist in the Marine Corp the regular way.

My son in a Marine. He joined in Feburary and Graduated boot camp in would. in the Marines you'll have 13 weeks of boot camp. the different significant distinction is that the Marines is the actually branch of provider to have the Crucible. military has 9 or 10 weeks i have self belief. you'll likely no longer be able to call living house in any respect. actually time everybody receives to is not any matter if it really is a few thing particular or your on medical and they make it easier to tell your kin. if you're on medical your boot will very last more they are going to position you in yet another platoon once you get more desirable ideal. the actually contact we had with my son became letters. We gained about a million a week after about the 2d week, till about the finest 3 weeks, then we didnt receieve some thing because they were a lot to busy to write down. the first 2 were formal type letters. They informed us his address and platoon variety, and so on... After that we were informed what lets deliver to him and ought to deliver in issues that he mandatory. After he graduated boot camp he gained a ten day leave and we were given to work out him for some days. We had to placed him back on a bus and he had yet another 29 days of rifleman training. you'll have fifty 9 days of rifleman training if you're infantry and then you'd be placed consisting of your unit. After his commencement from there he went to his MOS college, it is the position he's now. He now has his cellular telephone and pc with the intention to communicate and e mail him. we are hoping to work out him this weekend. i can inform you that it's going to likely be very demanding on you and extremely demanding on your kin. yet, I talked to my son as we communicate and that i requested him if he's thrilled consisting of his selection. would he make a similar selection back, and he stated sure. no matter if it is your dream keep on with it. it really is what he needed to do also. I accept as true with the different poster you ought to graduate first. learn for the ASVAB and score as intense as you could. the better your score the more desirable selections you've for MOS.

Oh yah, Annapolis is insanely hard to get into, you'd need just about perfect grades and no criminal history. No school suspensions, nothing on your permanent record.
