Hi, i'm one of the popular people in my school (ONE! of the popular) and I like this girl, but I'm afraid of what people might think about me and her if I make a move. What should I do I like her but it's like her or another girl.

I wouldn't worry about what other people think. They are shallow to judge you. If you like this girl, ask her out. If they are truly your friends, the "other people" will accept your decision. If not, then screw them. How many of them will you keep in contact with after graduation? I'll tell you - almost none. Go with your heart and you'll have no regrets.

YOu know what if you have to ask yourself what people will think of you maybe you need a reality check. People put too much on popularity. I figure you must be in highschool because that is when I recall all the popular kids and all those labels. If you like her then make your move. If someone has a problem with that maybe you need to NOT be a popular kids!

I think you should get over what others think. Are you a leader or a follower? I am going to let you in on a little secret. After high school your popularity won't matter. If you really like this girl then be willing to be with her no matter what your friends say. Real friends will respect your choice. The decisions you make now are the foundation of who you will be later in life. Do you want to be the guy who goes for what he want's or the guy who does what everyone want's?
Do it for only you.

Why should U worry about what people think about both of U if you're dealing with the situation in a respective way?! I mean you're not the only one who talks to a girl + U can't satisfy everyone on the earth, so if U really like her, make the move before it's too late, People will never care if U couldn't find someone else to love.

Date who you want. It's not about popularity. A few years from now you'll have lost track with several of the people you hang out with now.
What's more important is getting to know a VARIETY of people; not just the popular ones.

Trust me, it does not matter what others say. I know right now, in high school, what they say is the be all and end all of life, but just imagine twenty years down the road when you look back. Do you want to look back and smile (maybe into her eyes) or look back and say, "I was popular-isn't life great"
I was one of the "popular" ones too. And it took me to long to learn that life lesson. Don't live a life of regret because of what others say.

Let me put it to you this way, if you think there may be a good chance of the two of you working out, then go for it and dont give a **** about what anyone else thinks, cause most of the time alot of people split after schools over. And if you dont and all your friends go away, then your stuck by yourself and youll always wonder what if.

Well it sounds like you're in middle school...right?? so just make the best of it honestly believe it or not you're young and your decision probably won't stop the world from spinning so have fun! there's sooo much other stuff to worry about later on so try not to lose any sleep about it now. if you want to ask her out, great; but if it's the other girl you've got your eye on then why not!

go with ur gut... or the one you like the most... (keep ur popularity or go with this girl you really like). Im sure the girl will be really happy but if you can't risk your popularity, thats sad if you cant, but then don't do it. She's just going to be pushed back if your friends wont like her.
