Latley ive been blushing like MAD, and i never seem to do any work in class anymore....i just like to sit next to him!! I smile when he comes in the room, i like to ask him about things alot...i only get up the courage to talk to him right before the bell rings and can never carry on a convo..i go to his hockey games, i like to stand near him, i look at him a lot.....CAN HE TELL? that i like him. I am thinking about asking him to hang out sumtime...but would he be majorly weirded out by this? if he knew i liked him that much? is it just too much for him?

No, it would not be unreasonable to ask the guy to hang out. If he likes you, I think he will appreciate the effort on your part. Good luck!

He probably does get a feeling you're crushing on him, yes.
He may get weirded out, maybe not...try approaching him casually with regular conversation(which, by the way, can be achieved if you build up your confidence!) and get to be more of a friend to him. Then if you ask him, he won't mind in the least, whether you like him or not!
It will be too much if you overwhelm him. Grow into a friendship, or at least a familiar relationship, and then it will be much easier on both of you.

Don't go overboard with all of this because it might sound like as if you are stalking him and instead of him getting to know you he will not like you instead!! Maybe just have some convos with him and not follow him around because then you will feel more confident about asking him out!!
