A good shepherd doesn't let a wolf come and mutilate the flock....unless it's a flock of wild sheep and there is no shepherd.

If you're a Christian or Muslim, you can't answer that -- it makes no sense.

You, however, are a Jew. If you understand the Kabbalistic creation, including the Adam Kadmon, the Tzit-Tzum, etc... you should already know that everything that happens is a necessary part of repairing the shattering, and that everything that is happening, while unpleasant and not necessarily good, is the right thing to happen, because it is restoring and healing the shattered vessels so that one day the Adam Kadmon can return to the Worshipped G-D so that it may return once more to Ayin.

better question. Why do we allow it? God gave us free will. That means we can do what ever we want, but we will be held accountable for our actions later. If God stepped in every time there was a fight, we wouldn't have any free will. We would be drones.

At some point in time, we are going to have to accept responsibility for our actions, or lack of them.

We live with the results of humans' choice to ignore God. Is there any question left that it's not all that great?

Still, God will yet put it all right.

well this is why we are in this life.
we are here in this world as characters in a story.
we are here making a test, and god is as a teacher, he cant say what is right and what is wrong or interfere in the student's answers, all what he does is judge them in the judgement day. like the teacher correct the tests of the students and then declare who failed and who succedded.

The sad truth is because no one is up there protecting us . Horrible things happen everyday to people and all we have is each other. I wish people would understand that. "We" are all we have. Thats why we should all treat each other with kindness, compassion, and respect.
