why is this in 'home schooling'?
its a great question though
It reminds me of engineering school, engineering is about using the discoveries of science to benefit ppl with the application. Most engineering is about balancing constraints. In general to 3 most common restraints are cost, time, measurable improvement, these seem to apply to all management decisions as well
with out comparing just these 3 a lot of resources are wasted with too little benefit, or too much cost or waiting too long
The risk element comes in when ppl realize somewhere halfway through the execution that the benefit is a lot smaller than initially predicted
