I would avoid hair curlers especially if you are going to do it yourself, with fine hair it can be quite a disaster, you could end up loosing some hair! Professionally done is the way to go or just get some good tongs. If you are dead set on rollers then try Molton Browners, they are bendy, go for the largest size. They are available at all good Boots stores.

I think heated tong type curlers are better as the curls are quicker to achieve and you don't have to sleep with curlers in your head lol, also you can see the results instantly. The best ones I've come across (honestly!!) are the Mary Kate and Ashley ones lol. My little neice got them for xmas one year and my 'grown up' ones were on the blink so i borrowed hers - I bought a pair for myself the next day

I used to have long wavy hair and used Carmen heated rollers for years. Because my hair is wavy, five minutes was enough to give me loads of curls. Yours would take about half hour, leaving the rollers in until they are cold and NOT combing or brushing out until you are dressed and ready to go thru the door. Use a good hair laquer as well. It might be handy to use tongs on the longest part of your hair after the rollers as this is the heaviest part of hair so curls fall out quicker. Practice makes perfect too.

The best advice I can give you is to go to your local beauty supply store, if you have one, and ask the girls in there...most are very knowledgable. Now, if you dont have a store like that near you, call up a reputable hair dresser and ask. They are usually pretty nice about giving advice. I prefer the melecular hair rollers...a bit pricey, but when I had long straight hair they worked great! Good luck!

Get the caruso moleculer hair setter. It sets your hair with the power of steam in seconds. By the time you put your last roller in the first one is finished setting. Movie star hairstylists have used this for years. It works awesome.

try conair velcro rollers-they're elementary to apply. even as your hair is dry, they don't favor some thing yet a blast with a hair-dryer and a blast of cooling air. even as your hair is moist, guard them with bobby pins, enable them air-dry about 3/4 of ways, and finally end up the pastime with the dryer and a shot of cool.
