Depends on what you are looking for. If you love nature, a moderate climate, good food and socialising Bulgaria would be a good choice. Traffic is awful, but this will change.
What you would do and whether it will give you a good life standard - again this depends on what your skills are. You can set up a small business here and live like a normal honest person. Presently the labour market is closed for UK citizens, so you can only work as self employed or on a work permit.
Frankly, anywhere you go, generally if you are nice to people, they will be nice to you.
First questions to ask yourself are: why do you want to leave the UK and what do you hope to find somewhere else.

well our Clergy are always preaching to us how good Heaven
is so it could be worth a try...........then nobodys ever come back to tell us its better than the UK.
