I have to be honest and say that I have voted republican for the last 20 years mostly due to the so-called moral issues, abortion, gay marriage, etc. and over the last 4 years have totally changed my opinion and stance on these issues. I am so disappointed with the current administration and its handling of everything from the war in Iraq to his empty promises about healthcare and saving social security among a whole host of other issues that I am changing my party affiliation this upcoming election. I have always been more democratic in my thinking when it came to taxes, healthcare, and helping the poor and the middle class, but the moral issues always made me vote republican. I can see that those issues always seem to be big issues when we are in the middle of an election year but when the person gets in office they do nothing about those issues anyway, nothing has changed as far as I can see to curb the amount of abortions in this country in the last 8 years. I am voting my head and not my heart this time around.

Good question. A,B,C,D and F are all areas or domains that man has been given the responsibility to rule. Obviously we are not doing a very good job.

Poverty will always be with us. However, if everyone would give out of their abundance it would be greatly diminished as far as the consequences. So the answer is that we could do better.

2 dudes getting married is an abomination to God. The reason besides that it is a sin is that marriage is a covenant between 2 people that are joined by God. Since same, sex sexual activities are a sin, no matter how you describe it, married or not, how can you expect God's blessing and making the two as one?

God is real, not just an idea, concept or belief system and He will not be mocked. Does the story of Sodom and Gomorrah ring any bells.

I agree with IN Atlanta.

Many Christians I know do a great deal to help stop poverty and oppose war. In fact they I think most of them talk more about helping those less fortunate than they do about Gay Marriage.

It's the Media you have blame for putting the spotlight on the gay marriage issue. And it is an Issue to Christians, it is not the most important moral issue, but it is one that important.

Sexual immorality weather it be gay or strait is an issue because God is very clear about it.
Jesus said "you have herd said by them of old you shall not commit adultery, but I say to you that if you look upon someone and Lust after them you have already committed adultery in your heart."

I don't know about you but I am guilty of breaking this law of God.
God is so good and Just that he must punish law breakers. No mater how much good I do I am still guilty of breaking Gods moral laws, and justice must be done.
What can be done so that Justice can be served and we can avoid the punishment we deserve.

All of the above...and the Church as a whole is talking about it...well, at least my Church does. All of it's important.

Why which one is most important to you and what exactly are you doing to help the problem? Are you volunteering your time, donating money or just talking and posting things here...which amounts to not much?

Be a part of the solution instead of the problem!

They're all important -- which is why the church to which I belong, the Roman Catholic Church, has people and agencies and organizations that deal with all of them.

The fact that there's war and poverty and so on in the world should not be used as an attention-deflection tactic when it comes to debating "gay marriage."

Would you be comfortable with me saying that having a KKK rally in your neighborhood is okay, under the premise that there are more important problems in the world like war and poverty and hunger?

Didn't think so.

I would say it is not important that people die in Iraq, Africa or America from aids or poverty. Your sick for thinking so.

Homosexuals have a higher chance of spreading aids. so if we stop homosexual acts we could cut aids by a lot. "GOOD POINT" thank you for bringing this to our attention. So yes I would say the two dudes getting married (marriage can not happen between two people of the same sex. One is missing the other part.) Marriage includes being able to have children the standard way.

Amazing that so many people think that religion is a prerequisite to being a good moral person.

The true answer is to be kind to everyone so as long as they accept your kindness. Sure there will be caveats, but in general, be kind and accepting. If you do this, then each of your A-Z items will be solved.

GREAT POINT... Clearly, A-F are more important...

The "Moral" Majority is a disturbingly heinous bunch, aren't they?

Maybe you should visit some churches and SEE for yourself what they are talking about and acting on instead of just being spoonfed by the media.

If 2 dudes (or women) want to get married MORE POWER TO THEM! I'm all for making it legal.
