It may mean that you are not thinking before you open your mouth. Some guys call everyone a dits just because they can't thing of anything intelligent to say. As we mature we learn to think before we speak and sometimes not saying anything is the best.

Ditzy means basically acting really dumb and innocent. Not really knowing what is going on.
Many people say it to like 'ditzy blonde' cuz blondes are ditzy
Or an easier way of putting all this into two words are "Jessica Simpson"

"Ditz" is a kind of goofy spacey chick. She forgets you're having sex with her and starts doing her nails.
"Addled" means too much is going on and you get all confused.
They aren't exactly compliments.
