My girlfriend is devoting a lot of time to this 'spiritual' movement and it is costing her a lot of money. I am concerned that her changes may have a negative impact on our relationship. I think she is becoming brainwashed. Is Sri Sri Ravi Shankar a god, or what? Should I be concerned that this is a cult of some sort?

I don't know anything about them but I would definitely be suspicious of any "spiritual" group which cost the member a lot of money!

I also found the group has a section on a very good site which deals with cults. Just because it is on the site does not necessarily mean it's a cult. But it has been looked into by the site owner. It may be interesting to see what they have found:

It's a CULT!!!! You need to talk to her about it if not you gotta dump her and move on.
