I'm the same way. For me it's having just one tiny part of some type of control. I came from a somewhat large family so the remote was always taken when I got home from being out. Now when I get home, I have control of the remote, not my family. Plus I like to watch what I like to watch & if my bf doesn't like it he can go to the room & watch tv or play his ps2.
It all comes from your past. I never had control as a teenager, so now my control is rearing its ugly head as I'm now an adult.
