When I was dating my ex-boyfriend (for three months), his good friend went out of his way to get to know me and there was definite attraction between us. I made a point to keep things platonic, though I wondered if we would have hit it off had we met first. Now that my guy and I have broken up (about two months ago) is his friend totally off limits? I don't want to create drama, but I did sense something there. And since we don't see each other all the time anymore, how do I let his friend know I'm interested?

Honestly, as a guy, I'd be upset to know my ex wanted to date my friend all along. The thought does cross your mind. Sometimes you do have more in common with a boyfriends/girlfriends friends or might even be more attracted to that other person. But you got with the one you got with for a reason. And unfortunately they're off limits. Unless they too stop being friends, and you happen to see each other out, etc. Then in that situation it's meant to be. Don't force the connection again.

Guys are not as territorial with ex's as girls are. Girls code of friendship rule: you never date a friends ex. I don't think guys relaly go by this rule especially considering it was such a short relationship. You say you don't see his friend (your crush) all the time anymore so maybe you should just call this the one that got away no point in digging in your past and possibly causing drama. He got away its a big what if. What if y'all had met first. You should let it go and look to the future and would could be with someone not in close relation to your ex.

Go for it!..Life is too short, why wait and always wonder what could have been?!..I met my boyfriend through an ex..and I swear I've never been happier!..Him and my ex dont talk but he's not bothered about it..your single and if he is too you should text him and just start talking..that's how I started on my mission..and I got him in the end!..

Best of luck and I hope it all goes great!..If you do get together and get married I expect to be invited to the wedding!..ha ha!

don't be the desperate one, play the ball, meet up with him one day and act like everything around u makes u hot!!! a lil bit of touching here and there won't hurt eh umm on him and on urself. dont' let him sense that u are trying to turn him on. that will get him drooling and about ur ex he's history, no need for u to think about him, what he does or think or what he will do blah blah blah

I would for sure. There is no rule that you can't date whoever you want. Don't let your ex hold you back. You and him are over and done. You should be forgetting about him. Also, since you never see him, go for it!

well, getting involved with the friend WILL cause drama somewhere along the line. it is inevitable. well, i suggest just being upfront with the guy if you are willing to go through the drama!
