Ok so i just noticed this yesterday that my thumb was numb and well my thumb is still numb but it has little red marks now!! This is really weird and i'm wondering what it is. Do you know what this is??

Numbness in any extremity can be a sign of blocked circulation or of a problem with the nerve that works that part of the body. You may well have jammed the thumb perhaps in sports or while working. If it does not improve or if it becomes cold to the touch I would see a doctor. I am not sure what to make of the red marks. How much have you been testing it's numbness?

Do you have any other symptons? You could have been biten by a spider or some kind of weird bug. I would say if you don't get feeling back in the next couple of days consult a doctor. You can even call the hospital and speak to a nurse over the phone. Try that!! Good Luck
