Every time I sneeze, cough, hiccup, etc. I get a short burst of pain in my chest. It kind of feels like a pulled muscle, but how in the world would I pull a muscle there? I don't bench press or anything like that. What can I do to make it feel better if it is a pulled muscle?

you could have pulled a muscle.
you could have broken a rib.
you did not say if you had any injuries or accidents lately.
any recent health problems, or chronic past symptoms?
you can pull muscles is you do something out of the ordinary
or if you are cold or stiff and you move around a lot.
does it feel better if you heat of ice it ... take a shower or bath
does that relax it ... then probably muscular.
if it lasts a while go to the doctor.

If this is something recent you probably have some respiratory infection like pneumonia or bronchitus. I suggest you have a docotr check it out.
