They can't do anything you can't do yourself, and they are expensive.

I suppose you want to repair your credit, huh? Well, there is no such thing as repairing your credit. You tackle the problem by talking to your creditors and being cautious how you accrue debt. No one can help "repair" your credit except you. I know because I have been there before.

No such thing. Many places claim such a service but they can't do it. The only way to improve your credit score is to pay what you have and start having a good payment history.

For more information go to www.daveramsey.com he has a lot of information about how to get out of debt and what companies to avoid.

i will tell you how to do it for free -
go to www.annualcreditreport.com and get all 3 credit bureaus.
follow the dispute form directions and dispute all negative accounts
note: if you pay the accounts off first they would be more likely to delete them after you dispute them.
all a credit repair agency can do is this and charges you a fee for doing so

There is nothing an agency can do to repair your score that you cannot do for yourself, for FREE. There are many resources available to get you back on your feet. Go to oprah.com and look up her debt diet. There are many great ideas to get you started.
