do a plavo run. this is where you take a long run (i do 5 miles but you'll probably want to start of with 2 or 3)but every 4 minutes you sprint for 1 1/2 minutes. it really helps you build you endurance and you'll get fast really quick. this is guaranteed to work.

Easy, deadlift, power clean, plyometrics (possibly google plyometrics and try to find videos of people doing things like jumping onto boxes). Perform the exercises explosively. This will aim to train for power, which is a combination of force and velocity, required for the acceleration in sprinting.

Definitly Plyometrics. They have been proven, to make you fastest. Because when you land your muscles contract eccentrically. These will make you sore, but that means you did them right. HaHa. An extra Bonus plyo's give your leg muscles the best definition of any exercise. Weight lifting will also help. Good luck in track.

High knees, jumping, horse kicks. make sure you get the lactic acid out of your legs before a race by doing a mile warm up.
