Lately i have been getting these horrible headaches. I will just be relaxing at home, watching tv, whatever. All of the sudden i will notice that the light, any kind of light will give me theee most horrible headache that is impossible to get rid of. I know its from the light because when those headaches occur, I need to squint and turn off the lights. Any comments or suggestions? Has this happen to anyone else?

It sounds like a migraine. With a migraine, you're very light-sensitive and can also feel quite nauseated in addition to the pain of the headache. You should see your doctor and be evaluated.

I am not a doctor. "doc" is a nickname hung on me by friends and customers.
Sounds like classical migraine. There are some effective medications but one should try eliminating possible triggers before using drugs. Stress is a major trigger as are certain foods. Chocolate, coffee, alcohol, peanuts and peanut butter.
Nicotine is a big offender. A friend of mine found relief having her teeth straightened which aligned her jaws. I have been able to head my migraines off by chewing gum and flexing my lower jaw at first sign of migraine. Most sufferers experience a sudden aura, like a flashbulb going off, which alerts them to the impending throbber. Get quiet, avoid bright light, breathe deeply, massage scalp, extend chin to chest and gently roll side-to-side to stretch neck and shoulder muscles. (This from a sufferer of over 50 years.)

usually that's a sign that you're getting migraines. your doctor can prescribe you medication to take care of that.
