It attaches to the end of a blow dryer....it's shaped like a hemisphere and has little prongs that stick out of it with holes in them where the hot air blows through. The point is that if you scrunch your hair inside it, your hair will dry in that position, creating a scrunchy look.

It won't do much to curl your hair by itself if your hair is as straight as you say it is. Best to get some really good mousse, gel and hairspray, specifically designed to curl hair, scrunch it through your hair, and then dry with a diffuser. You'll probably get the most curl your hair will give you that way, without getting a treatment at a salon.

It is an attachment you put on your blow dryer that more evenly disperses the heat and doesn't condense it into one blast. It does help if you want curls, but it won't give you curls all by itself, you have to use curling products and help it along by either scrunching your hair as you dry it, or curling it with a curling iron or curlers.

i think it is a nozzle you put on your blowdryer. it dries your hair in a natural way, and adds body (for me). it works beter than not using any type of nozzle. good luck!
