my boyfriend talks to his ex all the time. it scares me because i always think there is a chance that they will get back together. how do i make it clear to him that he needs to stop?

You need to have a discussion about how you feel about it, but also realize that he will have other female friends, even exes. If something happens, there was never anything you could have done about it anyway. If not his ex, then it would be some other girl. Just keep your relationship healthy and it won't be a problem if you are both actually into each other.

Have a serious talk with him and tell him how much it bothers you and its disrespectful and inappropriate. Ask him how he'd feel if you were talking to your ex all the time?

Tell him that it bothers you that he is still talking to his ex. If you're still unsure you should leave him and move on.
