Don't scrub too hard with it. Also, make sure its clean. A used washrag carries a lot of germs that could break you out.

Its fine to use one. Just gently rub your face to exfoliate a bit and get off dead skin. Don't scrub to the point where your face burns, that's just no right.
I've used a washrag, I've used just my hands...never had problems with either and never found one to work better than the other. Just stick with what you're used to and what you like I suppose.

Using a washcloth is like exfoliating. Depending on your skin, you may want to do this only every other day. But if you have been doing it twice a day for a while, and have not noticed any excessive redness or irritation, then you should be fine. Exfoliating is good for your skin because it gets rid of all the dead skin cells and makes you face smoother.

Using a rag will get more of the dead skin cells off your face and make it appear more fresh. I once was told to always wash your face last. You will get less blemishes and things like that. I tried and have to agree!
You Hands should be clean before touching your face if you go that route.

No, I don't believe that's true. I wash my face everyday with a wash cloth and it's better because it works well as an defoliant. It takes most dead skin cells out without using a scrub.

I believe that's only if you have sensitive skin. You are also supposed to exfoliate, and if you are only using your bare fingers, how will that happen? I have been using a washcloth to wash my face my whole life, and haven't had any adverse affects!

if you have acne- prone skin i wouldnt recommend it, that will only irritate the pimples more and cause them to stand out on your face
.... not so cute :)
if your skin is normal or oily though you should be fine
