Or does it? He was quoted today as claiming that the Holocost never happned and that he will "wipe Israel off the face of the earth" sounds like he is calling for the killing of another 8 to 10 Million Jews.

Please do not answer that he is justified because of wrongs commited by Israel, I just want to know if true Islam agrees that 10 million Jews should be exterminated, or can we all live in peace some day.

Islam does not justify the president of Iran just like christianity does not justify the kkk.
By the way he also says that he has nothing against jews it is only the state of israel for what he says is there aggresstion towards palestinians and other neighboring countries.P.S.Did you know that Iran has one of the most jews(iranian jews) in the mideast and they coexcist quite peacefully and are allowed to practice their beliefs.
To answer your question no I as a muslim do not support him and most muslims dont either.
PS..He doesnt have the exact same beliefs as the main stream muslim community he is shiaah which is a minority and most main stream muslims are sunni and even all shiaa dont blindly support him.
Now what I want to ask you is that why is it that when a muslim says something or does something wronge this is automatically blamed on Islam the religion and not the individual ?I hope that this is not what you are doing.Anyway I am glad you asked the question because it is better then just assuming and staying ignorant. I hope this helps.

Those students may very well become like the exmuslims at news.faithfreedom.org

talk about slippery weasels eh?

The president of Iran is a very respectable, religious, and intelligent individual who cares for human rights and has dignity, stop living for history and look at the present. a few days ago this president generously donated 250 million dollars to the Palestinian Government to help that country, Israel is killing our fellow muslims everyday and no other nation helps Palestine and Palestine only tries to fight for its right and the west is against those from there and who are with this regime, if people only understood...

Give him a map, a pen and an eraser, let him erase Israel and write in new Iran.

Don't you think that what he could mean?

Don't you think that he could be just a mere actor hired by Israel to play the bad guy?

Well, quite simply Islam doesn't need to justify anything that "followers" get themselves into. It'd be like Christianity justifying homosexual and child molesting priests. It has nothing to do with the religion, but rather the evil within the person and just how far they are willing to take things. Personally I think Ahmadinejad has less courage than he flaunts in front of the media (like Saddam hiding in the rat hole), and society (especially the Muslims) could do well without the likes of such a person.

Edit: The religion of Islam commands justice for everyone no matter what religion, and also commands to fight only those who fight you (defense) or corrupt leaders who oppress the people. Seeing the manner in which Iran is run, Ahmadinejad is not a just and pure leader. Therefore it rejects him and his ideas to the fullest.

Could be an empty promise because some Muslim probably said it before and they haven't been able to yet. What is meant to be is meant to be, and nothing can change it.
I would say that he wanted to publicly announce his hatred for Jews, so he'd look like a hero.

Mohammad calls Jews and Christians "people of the Book" because they worship the same God and see Moses, Abraham and Jesus as major prophets.

The Koran does have some criticism for Jews for turning their backs on Jesus.

Why are you asking Islam to justify the statements of the Iranian leader.Do we ask Christians to Justify the quotes of an irresponsible pope or of an illegal war and killings of innocents because of it,by George bush?
