Israel's days may be numbered but not anytime soon, and not by President Ahmadinejad. If there is anyone out there who has at least paid attention to a history class, or in Sunday School, they would know that Israel will NEVER be destroyed. Countless numbers of people have tried and failed miserably. The Jewish nation will not die...ever.
We should, however, take President Ahmadinejad very seriously because he actually believes his own words. He wants to unite the radical Islamic extremists in order to somehow orchestrate Israel's demise. Iran probably won't make the first move. To do so would cause the entire region to descend into the Dark Ages again. Iran won't need electricity to "glow in the dark." Just this week, he had a conference in Iran whose main focus was the denial of the Holocaust. Even the Germans admitted culpability for WW2 and the Holocaust to the extreme. True, the victors write history, but the vanquished also write history, although their stories aren't often heard.
Israel's days may very well be numbered, but so are everyone else's as well.

Israel have fought, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia, all of those Arabs countries together, all against Israel at the same time and Israel have kick their asses back into their territories and now the Arabs are complaining about the territories that Israel won in the war. Iran talk and talk but to act against Israel is something else. Israel is not along, we the USA,, the big brother is here watching, and they know it. Talk all you want but be careful, we could take so much. Good luck!!

I've been waiting all day for some one to post about this. Yes this latest development has fascinated me. Not only did the guy hold a conference saying that the Holocaust was a fake, but at the meeting he made it clear again that he wants to wipe them off the face of the earth. It's dick heads like the first to answers that the president of Iran is counting on. It's people like them who refuse to open their ears to what he is saying. I think a preemptive strike on Iran is very near in the future. And Israel would totally justified in doing so.

Don't believe that. That's all political rhetorics by those in power. That's nothing new. Throughout the Cold War, the U.S. and Soviet Union threatened to annihilate each other with nuclear weapons. The same is true between India and Pakistan threatening to flatten each other to dust. And so with North Korea, promising a rain of missiles to South Korea. But nothing happened. Putting aside these threat and rhetorics, these leaders are not stupid to know that they will be going to their own doom once they did what they're preaching.

If Israel and Iran go at it, just the two of them, it will be the end of Iran, and the beginning of the end of radical , militant Islam.
If the U.S. had let the Israelis handle the Hostage Crisis back in 79-80, the world would not be in the mess it's in now.

Isreal's days are numbered, but not in the way that the blowhard Irain president says they are. It's just a matter of time before Iran feels the sting of a small country with a HUGE will to survive.

That this is an issue that should have been taken care of when Iran made their first outrageous statement. I don't think it is a ploy or a diversion. He feels he has nothing to hide, including his feelings on the Jews and wants them gone, and so far a third world dictator has been able to pretty much tell the U.N. to go f*ck themselves yet again. When will it be enough?

The Pres. of Iran and his little smirks make me sick. He is such a dumba**, if he thinks he is going to do anything to Israel. I'm going to laugh at him when they wipe Iran off the map!
