if it didn't work b4, maybe u didn't use strong enough gel. get max or strong hold. Then, once your hair is wet take a comb and comb it up the way you want it. then get the gel and squeeze about the size of a quarter in your hands. then grab your hair by the roots, and gently pull upward. let it dry naturally. if the gel starts to lose its hold, use hairspray. good luck!

Gel is a heavy substance that won't let you spike your hair all the time.. The best way would be a hairspray. With this, you can blow dry your hair to perfection.... Hey, I do it all the time...

If your hair is somewhat longer, a gel won't hold as well as say a pomade would. I wear my hair spiky in back and I use this stuff called d:fi I bought it at the mall in a beauty suplly store, It works wonders!
