i know u guys want to laugh soo go ahead aha hah ahahah im laughing too.. but i have a pot belly its fat my body is not fat... just my stomach pooches out and especially when im sitting down it sticks out... and no matter if i stop eating do situps it wont go away. im not considering any lipo or anytype of surgury im not crazy..lol i seriously want to lose my belly fat.. anyone has any ideas... what ever works for you.. im 5'4 and i weigh 160 something.. i hate having a fat stomach and i get tired of holding it in when im trying to be cute..lol

your bmi is 27.5

anything between 25-29.9 is overweight

so um? why do you think you should have a flat belly?
i am 5'3 and 103 pounds and i have a little belly! lol grr

Most women have genetic belly weight, so you are NOT alone... The only thing that works is working out over all.. Work out on a daily basis and eat fewer than 1500 calories per day. This will cause you to lose weight all over, and will reduce how much weight you carry in your midsection. There is no such thing as spot reduction so ONLY losing weight in your belly is not possible unless you undergo surgical procedures.

Honestly, excersise and eating right are the only safe ways to getting rid of it. I would check with your doctor about any thyroid problems you might have but if you look at people who excersise daily and eat right, it works. Salt is a big problem as well, it causes you to retain water so try to avoid it if possible.
