It's not very easy... usually it's best to find a job to sponsor you a work permit or something... but it's possible, just hard
yes, you can have a house and car here.... but you may be subject to higher interest rates if you have not held your job long or you may have to put more money down or need a cosigner etc.... same for a car unless you buy it cash....

it takes a long time to be a citizen, first your need to become a legal permanent resident, which can take years, then 5 years after you become a resident, then you can apply for citizenship....

As far as I know, the rights of Canadians are no different to the rights of the English. I may be wrong. Being English, I can tell you that it is very hard to work in the US. It is not a simple option to work in the US - you can't just apply for a working visa and get one just like that! Basically the best way to get a working visa is if you work in a management position in Canada in an international company which has a location in Canada and in the US for two years, you can then be transferred to the US location to work in the same position at that location. In this situation you can get a working visa but it would only be for that one company. It is very complicated.

Canadians do have the right to purchase a house or a car here in the US. You do not need to be a US citizen to buy things.

You cannot just apply for citizenship. It's a very long complicated process.

Hope my info helps.
