I was raised in a very religious household and I am in no way very religious on a day to day basis. But I do find myself drawn to the traditional Christmas stories during the holiday season. I guess the tranquility and peacefulness draws me in. How about you?

I don't think my real beliefs change, but I share your experience. I think for me it's a combination of nostalgia for a more simple and secure time in my life, and wishing for the kind of peace on earth many of the Christmas stories talk about.

i think as Christians it is our most celebrated holiday, the holiday which all of our beliefs are based on the the birth of Jesus Christ, who would spread the message of treat your neighbors as you would want to be treated, even if you don't believe in him as an idol, he was a great philosopher :)
Merry Christmas!

Not really...I don't like this time of year very much. It's irritating, fake, and over-compensating. You should be giving, peaceful, and thoughtful 365/7days.
