according to myself, i think i have a binge eating problem (NO purging)
i weigh about 103 female 15 and 5'3

i dont get it, im niether bored or hungry or have a bad diet. on a typical day i eat:
breakfast= BIG bowl of cereal
lunch at school-apple
lunch at home- anything my mom made that day (ex: pasta, rice/meat, sandwich) with more fruit
snack- any type of fruit
dinner- something my mom made (same as lunch)
AND THEN as if i havent eaten enough..
binge (i binge not so 'largely' most of the time BUT ocacasionaly,- chocolate, poptarts, CEREAL, pretzels, (whatever is in the house that i see)

*please dont suggest that im bored, because im always busy
or please dont say to take those foods out of the house, i have 4 little siblings, and i am in a thin family, no one needs to be on a diet, or restrict those foods because i have no willpower.. and this isnt THAT serious where i need to 'seek medical help' just some tips or an explanation from someone that can help me

You hardly have anything to worry about! You weight and height are fine for your age. As far as the eating thing - to me your not eating that much! You might just have a fast metabolism and burn calories fast and more efficient than others. You not over weight and seem healthy. You say you eat fruit all the time - good for you.

Try visualization. Visualize what you want to look like, what kind of example you want to set for you siblings, the respect you will, or won't have from your peers, the kind of guy want to attract (at some point) maybe even the kind of mom you want to be, some day? And everything else that comes to your mind that is important to you. Now, take a few moments and come to very clear realization of how binging might take away from being and becoming the person that gives you the most self respect. When you get the urge to binge go into your mind and recall the ideal person you want to be and take a moment to realize exactly how important it is to you and say out load, NO! I WON"T BINGE. Should you find your self binging unconsciously, then take a moment to become fully conscious of the fact that you are binging and simply stop.

You sound healthy to me. If anything, you have a high metabolism which is primarily a genetic quality that we inherit from our parents.

If I may suggest... You should replace Pop Tarts with something less processed and more natural.. i.e. Organic Toaster Pastries or something thing that does not contain hydrogenated oils and/or high fructose corn syrup. These 2 ingredients are extremely popular in the American diet (processed foods/drinks) and do not do good things for your body in the long run.

The problem is probably emotional. You're eating some feelings. Only you can answer what those feelings are, but it might be feelings of happiness, sadness, anxiety, pressure, stress, fun...

The good news is that you're not gaining any weight because you're still young, but you want to nip it in the bud. You are also not eating enough. I think you need to eat more throughout the day so you don't feel deprived.

You are young... You have so many hormones flying through your body right now... when Your body calms down, all that eating WILL catch up to you, and you will gain weight very fast. Continue to eat healthy foods and you should be able to stay skinny. Good luck

umm ur not trying 2 lose wieght or eat less r u? cause ur eating fine and ur weight is pretty low u sound like ur 2 skinny 103? dang u should get into like yoga or like something that will make u wiegh like 120-130 and look toned.

you are 5'3 and 103, you are actually under weight for your height. i would enjoy being able to eat what i wanted and remain that small. i am 5'4 and 120 lbs and would love to weigh 103.
